Job summary

Agri-Mark/Cabot Creamery in Town of Middlebury, NY is seeking a first shift, 12-hour Operator (6pm–6am). This lead operator role will supervise cheese making, drying, evaporating, filtration and separation equipment with a 4-on-4-off rotation. Opportunities for raises every six months in the first two years.

The starting wage is $30.15 per hour with a night differential of 7–10%. You will work in a team-focused environment with emphasis on accurate record keeping, safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience as a lead operator in dairy production.
• Able to cross-train in multiple production positions.
• Strong record-keeping and judgment abilities.
• Willing to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead operator of cheese making and whey processing equipment.
• Oversee operation of drying and evaporator equipment.
• Train and guide trainees and coworkers in production tasks.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure quality standards.
