Job summary

Century Furniture LLC, Plant 3 in Hickory, NC, is seeking a seasoned Superintendent to lead the Cut and Sew operations. You will oversee the daily performance of the Cutting and Sewing departments, drive productivity, and ensure quality and safety standards are met across shifts.

You will collaborate with Purchasing on fabric and leather issues, apply Lean Manufacturing techniques, and rely on Excel, Word and SAP to analyze workflows and report results to leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 5+ years as a Cut and Sew Superintendent in an upholstered furniture factory recommended.
• Ability to work with all levels of the company.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of Cut and Sew departments with the assistance of managers.
• Maintain quality control standards, safety standards, and labor efficiencies.
• Work closely with the upholstery floor to resolve any quality or production issues.
