Job summary

Century Furniture LLC is seeking a Sewing Machine Operator to join our upholstery team in Hickory, NC. You will operate sewing machines to assemble cushions, borders, backs, and flatwork, ensuring quality and efficiency on every run.

Responsibilities include adjusting machines for different fabrics, following detailed specs, maintaining a clean work area, and collaborating with teammates to meet production goals. Prior marking/cutting experience is a plus; high school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate sewing machines to sew cushions, borders, backs, flatwork, etc.
• Adjust machines to stitch various fabrics.
• Read and follow sewing specs and notes provided.
• Maintain equipment and work area in an orderly manner.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Work as part of a team to meet production goals.
• Learn additional functions by cross-training in other departments, as needed.
