Job summary

RHF in Hickory, NC is seeking a full-time CAD System Operator to run the upholstery CAD system, input patterns, and manage fabric markers for production. You will coordinate marker layouts with cutters and CAD setup staff, ensuring accurate yardage recording and file organization.

The role requires basic MS Office skills, CAD experience, and the ability to work in a manufacturing environment with focus on safety and process improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience with CAD programs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD related to pattern designs.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Enter patterns and fabrics into the CAD system as required.
• Produce markers applying frames to fabrics as required.
• Print markers in miniature, laminate, and file in proper place.
• Record all markers and yardages in the main frame computer system.
• Pull markers as required for the schedule.
• Work with cutters on marker layouts.
• Collaborate with CAD Cutter Set-up Operator on layout problems.
