Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• 1 year of custodial work.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Must obtain CJIS certification; no felony or disqualifying convictions.

Responsibilities

• Leads, coordinates, performs and assigns the activities of custodial personnel and contract personnel; coordinates for events or programs.
• Inspects and monitors routine custodial work; ensures compliance with contracts and city standards; handles work orders and documentation.
• Transports equipment and supplies to worksites; maintains city vehicles and may drive them for deliveries.
• Prepares work orders, tabulation reports, and inspection forms; maintains records of work and inspections.
• Conducts on-the-job training and safety meetings; discusses contractor performance.
• Checks areas for hazards and spills; maintains grounds around buildings.
• Performs other trades work as needed.
