Base pay range

$25.00/hr - $35.00/hr

About Dynomax Inc.

A family-owned company, Dynomax designs, manufactures, and develops high-precision machined components, injection molding and tooling, sub-assemblies, automated work cells, specialty machines, and machine tool spindles since 1986. We are seeking a Lead Custodian to delegate responsibilities to the custodial team for three manufacturing facilities in Wheeling.

Lead Custodian Job Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties while delegating tasks to team members
• Maintain inventory for cleaning supplies, paper goods, and other consumables; work closely with the Purchasing Department to purchase supplies
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers
• Clean and supply restrooms and break rooms
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, polishing, and shampooing carpeting as needed
• Dust and wipe down surfaces in common areas such as lunch rooms, conference rooms, workout rooms, and training rooms
• Properly clean all windows and mirrors

Lead Custodian Job Requirements

• 3+ years of custodial/maintenance experience
• 1+ year of leadership experience
• Ability to be on-call during off hours
• Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Ability to communicate concerns and hazards in a timely manner to a diverse audience
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
• Ability to properly mix and prepare cleaning chemicals
