Job summary

The Lead CT Technologist at St. David's South Austin Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, guides the CT Department's daily operations and ensures staff are trained and competent.

You will optimize radiation usage, maintain quality control, and uphold ARRT standards while delivering safe, high-quality CT imaging services. You will lead by example in patient care, radiation protection, and collaboration with the team to meet performance goals and enhance department efficiency in a busy hospital

Qualifications

• Graduate of an American Medical Association approved program in Radiologic Technology and advanced certification ARRT CT.
• Two years’ experience performing Computed Tomography procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of the CT Department and staff.
• Direct technical functions and optimize radiation use per guidelines.
• Maintain training, quality control, and performance improvement activities.
