Job summary

Alpha Home Health and Hospice is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging, including advanced CT protocols, ensuring high-quality patient care. You will set up equipment, position patients, administer contrast media when needed, and monitor patient condition during exams.

The role includes mentoring colleagues, overseeing departmental workflows, maintaining supplies, and ensuring regulatory compliance to support a safe and efficient radiology department.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience with at least 1 year in CT.
• Licenses in BLS and other relevant certifications.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure, and as part of a team.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, radiation safety, and quality control protocols.

Responsibilities

• Verify clinician orders, review patient history, and ensure proper patient identification.
• Perform imaging procedures while adhering to safety and sterile techniques.
• Respond to emergencies, monitor patient status, and communicate effectively with physicians.
• Maintain equipment, produce acceptable images, and ensure proper documentation and data transfer.
• Assist with departmental operations, staff training, and process improvements.
• Support quality control and regulatory standards through calibration and audits.
• Participate in departmental meetings, training, and mentorship activities.

Role Overview: The CT Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including advanced protocols such as TAVR, Cardiac CTA, and lung screenings, ensuring high-quality, safe, and age-appropriate patient care. They set up equipment, position patients, administer contrast media, and monitor patient condition during exams. The role includes mentoring colleagues, overseeing departmental workflow, managing supplies, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
