Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Lead CSA Field Engineer to supervise field engineering activities for Civil, Structural and Architectural scopes on a Houston-based project within Bechtel's Manufacturing & Technology unit. You will lead field engineers, coordinate with construction and design teams, and ensure safe, quality, on-schedule execution and turnover readiness.

Qualifications

Experience leading field engineering teams across construction, engineering and client interfaces.
Strong knowledge of CSA construction execution, temporary facilities, field sketches, and turnover.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specs, codes and vendor documents.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise field engineering staff, set priorities, develop employees.
Coordinate with construction, design, startup and subcontractors to plan work.
Ensure field sketches, as-builts and related plans are prepared and maintained.
Review ITPs, submittals, inquiries and changes within delegated authority.
Support turnover activities, punchlist, and data integrity for project handover.
Monitor cost, schedule and progress to aid forecasting and planning.
