Job summary

Hoist & Crane Service Group in Texas seeks a Senior Technician, a heavy equipment mechanic specializing in crane modernization and repair. You will lead field technicians and act as the liaison between management and customers.

This role requires on-call availability, troubleshooting, inspections, repairs and upgrades at customer sites, plus training of junior technicians, OSHA inspections, and documenting repair orders. A safety-first mindset and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years crane repair & maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to work at varying heights.
• Basic computer skills to use crane inspection programs.
• Strong communication with customers and management.

Responsibilities

• On-call and after-hours availability as required.
• Troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and upgrading cranes at customer sites.
• Train and mentor field technicians.
• Perform OSHA crane inspections and generate reports/repair orders.
• Communicate with Service Manager/Branch Manager to schedule work daily.
• Consult with customers on repairs and safety recommendations.
• Maintain company equipment, vehicle and assets in safe condition.
• Operate tools/vehicles safely; report deficiencies.
• Attend trainings; participate in company programs.
• Other duties as assigned.
