Job summary

ISC Constructors, L.L.C. is seeking a Lead Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Louisiana.

You will work with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and implement effective recruiting practices, sourcing strategies, and candidate evaluation processes. The role requires strong communication, organization, and confidentiality, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and determine recruiting practices.
• Source and screen candidates, evaluate resumes, conduct interviews, and present candidates to managers.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for current and projected hiring needs.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand business lines and hiring needs.
• Collaborate with HR to provide best practices and strong customer service to the hiring community.
• Own staffing metrics and report results by business line.
• Recruit, screen, and interview candidates; exercise creativity and initiative.
• Report to a manager or department head; exercise latitude in role.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned; promote teamwork and coach others.

The Position:

We are looking for a positive, energetic and experienced Lead Talent Acquisition Specialist with a wide variety of abilities that complements ISC’s culture of integrity.

Applicants should have the ability to:

• Work closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and determine best recruiting practices to attract the most highly qualified candidates;
• Research, source (using cold calls, referrals, data mining and internet resources), evaluate resumes, conduct screening interviews to qualify candidates and present candidates to hiring managers
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for current and projected hiring needs
• Partner with hiring managers to understand lines of business and hiring needs
• Partner with HR to provide best practices and customer service to hiring community
• Will be responsible for staffing related metrics which are reviewed per business line
• Recruit, screen and interview craft candidates.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
• Performs other administrative functions as assigned
• Promotes teamwork; coaches and guides others

Qualifications:

• Experience working with Craft positions, preferably,Electrical, experience and/or degree preferred.
• Bilingual: Spanish speaking a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with understanding of meeting deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Typicallyhas 5+ years’ experience with Industrial Construction and/or Maintenance background
