ISC Constructors, L.L.C. is seeking a positive, energetic Craft Labor Recruiter to support staffing across its industrial construction and maintenance projects.

The role involves partnering with hiring managers, sourcing candidates, screening interviews and presenting qualified applicants to leaders. Applicants should have 5+ years of experience in industrial construction or maintenance staffing, proficiency with MS Office, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience recruiting for craft positions, preferably electrical.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• 5+ years’ experience with Industrial Construction and/or Maintenance background.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and determine best recruiting practices.
• Research, source (cold calls, referrals, data mining and internet resources), evaluate resumes, conduct screening interviews to qualify candidates and present to hiring managers.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for current and projected hiring needs.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand lines of business and hiring needs.
• Partner with HR to provide best practices and customer service to the hiring community.
• Staffing related metrics reviewed by business line; recruit, screen and interview craft candidates.

The Position

We are looking for a positive, energetic and experienced Craft Labor Recruiter with a wide variety of abilities that complements ISC’s culture of integrity.

Applicants should have the ability to

• Work closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and determine best recruiting practices to attract the most highly qualified candidates;
• Research, source (using cold calls, referrals, data mining and internet resources), evaluate resumes, conduct screening interviews to qualify candidates and present candidates to hiring managers
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for current and projected hiring needs
• Partner with hiring managers to understand lines of business and hiring needs
• Partner with HR to provide best practices and customer service to hiring community
• Will be responsible for staffing related metrics which are reviewed per business line
• Recruit, screen and interview craft candidates.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
• Performs other administrative functions as assigned
• Promotes teamwork; coaches and guides others

Qualifications

• Experience working with Craft positions, preferably, Electrical, experience and/or degree preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with understanding of meeting deadlines.
