Job summary

ISC Constructors, LLC is seeking a positive, energetic Craft Labor Recruiter in Baton Rouge to identify staffing needs and develop sourcing strategies for craft positions, including electrical and maintenance backgrounds.

You will partner with hiring managers, HR, and operations to source, screen, and present qualified candidates, while managing staffing metrics and promoting teamwork across the business lines. This role emphasizes integrity, confidentiality, and service orientation.

Qualifications

• Experience recruiting for craft roles, preferably electrical, and/or maintenance backgrounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

The Position:

We are looking for a positive, energetic and experienced Craft Labor Recruiter with a wide variety of abilities that complements ISC’s culture of integrity.

Applicants should have the ability to:

• Work closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and determine best recruiting practices to attract the most highly qualified candidates;
• Research, source (using cold calls, referrals, data mining and internet resources), evaluate resumes, conduct screening interviews to qualify candidates and present candidates to hiring managers;
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for current and projected hiring needs;
• Partner with hiring managers to understand lines of business and hiring needs;
• Partner with HR to provide best practices and customer service to the hiring community;
• Will be responsible for staffing related metrics which are reviewed per business line;
• Recruit, screen and interview craft candidates;
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected;
• Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department;
• Performs other administrative functions as assigned;
• Promotes teamwork; coaches and guides others.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with Craft positions, preferably Electrical, experience and/or degree preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with understanding of meeting deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Typically has 5+ years’ experience with Industrial Construction and/or Maintenance background.
