Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare's High Focus Centers – Center City Philadelphia, PA seeks a Lead Counselor to provide clinical leadership within the Partial Hospitalization Program and to facilitate group therapy sessions for mental health and co-occurring disorders.

The role includes conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans with clients and the care team, maintaining documentation, coordinating with families and external providers, and supporting program operations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Completion of clinical internship/practicum.
• DBT and co-occurring disorders experience preferred.
• Experience facilitating group therapy in outpatient behavioral health.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Licensure (LPC/LCSW/LMFT) preferred but not required.
• Ability to work with diverse clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership within the Partial Hospitalization Program.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions for mental health and co-occurring disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain documentation including progress notes and treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with referral sources, families, and external providers.
• Maintain a minimum of 25 billable sessions per week.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior counselors and promote professional growth.
• Perform additional duties to support clinical operations.
