Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare seeks a Lead Counselor for the Adult Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) at High Focus Centers – Lansdale, PA. This role blends direct clinical care with leadership, supporting counselors while ensuring high-quality treatment.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in a behavioral health field, PA licensure, and PHP/IOP experience, with focus on adults and co-occurring disorders. No weekends; weekday schedule with evening coverage two days per week.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or related field from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a clinical internship or practicum required.
• Experience in PHP/IOP or similar outpatient behavioral health setting preferred.
• Experience treating adults with mental health and co-occurring disorders required.
• PA licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and day-to-day support to counselors and program staff within the Adult PHP.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups for adults with mental health and co-occurring disorders.
• Complete comprehensive assessments and collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with referral sources, families, and other healthcare providers to support continuity of care.
• Maintain a minimum of 25 billable sessions per week.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a mentor and clinical resource for counselors.
