Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a Lead Counselor (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) at High Focus Centers – Northeast Philadelphia. The role blends direct clinical care with leadership responsibilities, supervising therapists and ensuring evidence-based care for adults with mental health and co-occurring disorders.

The position requires a Master’s degree in a related field and active PA licensure. Monday–Friday shifts, with daytime and some evening coverage, and a full benefits package accompany

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active Pennsylvania licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of therapists providing outpatient and partial hospitalization treatment to adults with mental health and co-occurring disorders.
• Evaluate clients to determine appropriate level of care and assign DSM-5-TR diagnoses.
• Assist counselors in developing comprehensive, individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate treatment team meetings and participate in case consultations.
• Provide individual and group supervision to counselors and other assigned staff.
• Maintain a caseload, as necessary, to support program operations.
• Support the Program Director in the development of new programs and services.
• Conduct chart audits and complete clerical tasks related to client documentation.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for clients, including crisis intervention when needed.
• Ensure the clinical program operates as scheduled and meets all licensing, regulatory, and organizational standards.
