Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE) is seeking a Lead Counsel for the ICE Mortgage Technology unit. This in‑office role reports to the Sr.

Director - Associate General Counsel and negotiates enterprise SaaS agreements while advising go‑to‑market stakeholders. The Lead Counsel will collaborate with a small legal team to address revenue recognition, data privacy, and information security matters, with relocation assistance available for qualified candidates and multiple office options

Qualifications

• Law degree from an accredited U.S. law school and bar in good standing.
• 4+ years of law firm and/or in-house experience, preferably counseling a technology company (SaaS contracting).
• Prior in-house SaaS contracting experience is highly preferred.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead diverse teams through complex enterprise negotiations and manage timelines.
• Comfort with revenue recognition, data privacy, and information security in contracts.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and close a variety of commercial agreements, focusing on enterprise SaaS contracts.
• Gain detailed understanding of solutions to align contracts with offerings.
• Serve as a strategic partner and provide legal and business guidance to GTM stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the legal team on platform partners and dispute management.
