Job summary

GoodLeap is seeking a dedicated legal resource for its Servicing Team to guide real-time operational decisions on loss mitigation, collections, and compliance.

You will lead compliance analysis under Reg X, Reg Z, FDCPA, UDAAP, TCPA, and state laws, draft and maintain servicing policies, and review vendor contracts for regulatory readiness. This role requires a seasoned attorney with deep knowledge of consumer debt regulation and an active state bar.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years as a practicing attorney in consumer loan servicing.
• Deep knowledge of consumer debt collection laws and regulations.
• Membership in applicable state bar and J.D. from ABA-accredited law school.

Responsibilities

• Lead compliance analysis under Reg X, Reg Z, FDCPA, UDAAP, TCPA, and state laws.
• Draft and maintain loss mitigation policies and servicing procedures.
• Review vendor contracts and support regulatory examinations.
