Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Lead Cost Account Manager in Salt Lake City to lead cost, schedule, and performance across multiple programs. The role focuses on EVMS, CAPs, EACs, and forecast accuracy within a fast-paced defense environment.

The CAM will collaborate with Program Management, Finance, Scheduling, and Engineering teams to ensure accurate planning, baseline management, and execution, while driving risk management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

Manage cost, schedule, and performance for assigned control accounts across programs (typically $50M-$750M).
Develop and maintain CAPs, budgets, EACs, and forecasts aligned with program objectives.
Collaborate with PM, Finance, Scheduling, and engineering IPT Leads for baseline management and execution.
Review CAC performance, identify variances, assess root causes, and drive corrective actions.
Lead monthly EVMS reporting, status collection, variance analysis, and Contract Performance Reports.
Monitor labor, materials, subcontract, and direct cost performance against plan; recommend adjustments.
Identify, track, mitigate, and manage program risks and opportunities affecting cost/schedule/tech.
Support change management, including baseline changes and approvals for changes to baselines.
Ensure CAC activities comply with EVMS guidelines; support DCMA-surveilled programs.
