Job summary

NAVFAC Pacific is seeking experienced Cost Engineers to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. You will prepare comprehensive cost estimates for complex military construction projects, advise designers and project managers on cost control, and review design documents to ensure accurate cost projections and proposals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, U.S. citizenship, and ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET Clearance.
• Must be a U.S. citizen 18+ and registered for Selective Service.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive preliminary, budget, and detailed cost estimates for MILCON and renovation projects.
• Lead estimator in design workshops and advise on cost control and alternative designs.
• Analyze designs, drawings, and specs to project costs and evaluate contractor proposals.
