Job Summary

The Lead Cosmetologist will be responsible for training and education in their spa on spa services and protocols, ensuring standards are being adhered to and met.

Job Functions, Unique Duties, and Responsibilities

• Must possess a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Must have received hairstylist/esthetics/nail/makeup training from an accredited/approved cosmetology school.
• Thorough understanding of body, skin, and hair anatomy, and the effects of specific techniques to determine contraindications and recommend beneficial services.
• Must possess a cooperative and positive attitude, exercising reason.
• Must have excellent communication skills and provide clear, articulate communication.
• Ability to interact professionally and sensitively with guests and co-workers.
• Demonstrates a commitment to providing high-quality hair, nail, and skincare therapy.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Ability to create, update, and edit training manuals, protocols, and tests.
• Oversight of Esthetics.

Realistic average rate is approximately $21-$36 per hour for the Lead Cosmetologist position.
