Who we are looking for
Are you an experienced Spa/Salon Manager with a strong Esthetician background ready to take charge of a growing beauty concept? Glow Up Studio is looking for a seasoned Studio Manager and Esthetician to lead our team, manage day-to-day operations, and perform advanced facial & beauty services 2 days per week.
This hybrid role is perfect for someone who loves coaching a team, driving results, and delivering elevated skincare and beauty transformation experiences.

- You’re tech-savvy, love a good Google Sheet, and can navigate booking platforms without breaking a sweat (Zenoti experience is a plus!).
- Have consistent attendance, punctuality, and weekend availability (this is a leadership role — your presence matters!).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead daily operations across Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH), ensuring a smooth, professional, and joyful guest experience.
- Lead by example with a calm, confident, and coaching-forward approach.
- Strategically steer and achieve financial objectives by vigilantly tracking revenue, expenses, and profitability in alignment with an annual budget.
- Employ data and metrics analysis to craft efficient work schedules, ensuring optimal coverage and resource utilization while adhering to contractually obligated operating hours.
- Coach, mentor, and support a high-performing team of Estheticians, Lash and Brow Stylists and front desk Guest Relations Associates.
- Foster strong team cohesion through open communication, collaboration, and clarity of expectations.
- Own and manage staffing, scheduling, training, and inventory coordination.
- Manage hiring, onboarding, and ongoing performance development through Key Performance Metrics (KPIs).
- Collaborate with Ownership on growth strategies, marketing initiatives, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with our Marketing Manager on all social media and other digital marketing initiatives.
- Utilize performance data and daily goal guides to align the team toward shared business outcomes.
- Diligently oversee licensing board rules and regulations within the studio, upholding stringent regulatory compliance.
- Perform expert-level facials, peels, advanced skincare services (e.g. microdermabrasion, microchanneling, etc.), lash lifts, and brow laminations two days per week. (Lash Extensions experience is a bonus (minimum 3 years preferred), but not required.)
- Lead training of new estheticians in facials, peels, and advanced skincare in alignment with Glow Up Studio protocols. (Lash and brow training is a plus, but not required.)
- Provide structured onboarding, hands-on coaching, and protocol refreshers to ensure consistent service excellence.
- Support new service rollouts, test and refine protocols, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide backup coverage when needed to maintain service flow and guest satisfaction.
Operations & Guest Experience
- Ensure consistent alignment with Glow Up Studio’s guest journey standards — from welcome to rebooking.
- Personally model and uphold Glow Up Studio’s customer service standards — warm, professional, and prompt.
- Ensure retail readiness, cleanliness, and supply organization.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming environment that exceeds health and hygiene standards.
- Monitor client feedback and team performance data to inform decisions and resolve issues proactively.
- Uphold brand standards and help cultivate a vibrant, guest-centered studio culture.
- Collaborate seamlessly with our retail team to guarantee product availability through effective merchandising and proficient inventory management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 7-10+ years of experience in the beauty, spa/salon/MedSpa industry, including at least 3 years of studio/salon/retail management experience.
- Licensed Esthetician (TX) or Licensed Cosmetologist (TX).
- Highly skilled in facials and advanced skincare (e.g. peels, microderm, dermaplaning). Lash Extensions would be a bonus as long as you have 3 years of lashing experience, but is not required.
- Proven track record managing teams, creating advanced skill based schedules, and high-volume client flow.
- Polished, professional communication and presence.
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ yrs of Lash Extensions experience, preferred Senior/Master Level.
- Training experience from within a Spa/Salon or school.
- Familiarity with Zenoti or similar booking/POS platforms.
