Job summary

Washington State Department of Corrections seeks an RN3 at Coyote Ridge Corrections Center in Connell, WA. The role provides clinical leadership, coordinates nursing care, and collaborates with diverse health staff to deliver essential services for incarcerated individuals.

Two years of RN experience, WA RN licensure or MLS option, CPR training, and strong computer/EMR skills are required. The schedule is Tue-Sat 1400-2230, with duties including CQIP and quality improvement participation.

Qualifications

• Initial and continuous licensure in the State of Washington as a Registered Nurse.
• MLS demographic survey completion for Multi-State License option.
• Two years’ experience as a Registered Nurse.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Providers CPR training.
• Proficient with computer-based programs to schedule, monitor, and document patient information.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight of nursing personnel under this position’s supervision.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate staff; ensure attendance and competency.
• Manage medication administration and dispensing areas.
• Develop and implement care plans and ensure quality patient care.
