Job summary

Mediko is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care in a correctional setting at Spokane County Detention Services Jail, Spokane, WA. This part-time role includes assessments, medication administration, treatments, and emergency response.

You will collaborate with healthcare teams, document in EMR, comply with policies and regulations, and participate in quality improvement. A current state RN license and CPR/BLS are required; 1-3 years of healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active CPR/BLS certificate required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per established policies and procedures.
• Conduct initial medical screenings and ongoing care for inmates.
• Document assessments, treatments, and progress in the EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, mental health professionals, and correctional staff to ensure quality care.
