Qualifications

• Previous experience in a correctional food service environment is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the preparation and production of meals for inmates, ensuring nutritional standards and appropriate portion sizes.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate food service staff and assign tasks.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain records of purchases and usage.
• Enforce food safety regulations and sanitation of equipment and storage areas.
• Oversee accurate portioning and timely meal distribution to inmates.
• Maintain records related to production, staffing, inventory, and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and coordinate with facility management.

Education
