Benchmark Government Solutions Llc is seeking a Correctional Food Production Supervisor to oversee kitchen operations in a correctional facility, ensuring meals meet nutritional, safety, and regulatory standards while coordinating production, inventory, and staff.

The role requires strong leadership, adherence to food safety protocols, and the ability to manage a team, schedule meals, monitor temperatures, and report on inventory and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Culinary Arts, Food Service Management, or related field preferred.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in food service, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Previous experience in a correctional food service environment is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and production of meals for inmates, ensuring nutritional standards and portion control.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate kitchen staff, assign tasks based on skills and needs, ensure safety protocols.
• Maintain inventory records, monitor food purchases, usage and waste, and manage orders within budget.
