Job summary

The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) seeks a skilled Correctional Education Program Supervisor to oversee all education and library services at the ASPC-Yuma complex. The role directs teachers and staff, ensures compliance with state and contract requirements, and supports academic and vocational programs.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree, Arizona teaching certificate, and pass background checks; supervisory experience and a Master’s degree are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college.
• Current Arizona teaching certificate.
• Must possess a valid fingerprint clearance card.
• Employment contingent on background check, drug test, and possibly medical exam.
• TB testing required for new employees annually.

Responsibilities

• Supervises education staff and programs for the assigned complex.
• Interviews and participates in the hiring process.
• Evaluates teacher performance and conducts classroom audits.
• Manages budget and administrative tasks for education services.
• Coordinates facility use and schedules for classes.
