ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS, REHABILITATION & REENTRY is seeking a Training Officer I in Phoenix to coordinate and deliver staff training. The role focuses on adult learning principles and oversees training programs within an assigned ADCRR Complex.

The position requires expertise in instructional strategies, project coordination, and effective communications, with opportunities to lead staff development initiatives and evaluations in a corrections environment.

Qualifications

• Coordinate and deliver staff training within an ADCRR Complex.
• Develop programs and oversee Annual Training Plan and New Employee Orientation.
• Implement evaluations and surveys to measure training outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Supports employee training for the assigned Complex.
• Plans, coordinates logistics for training sessions.
• Monitors registrations and attendance; maintains AZ Learns records.
• Oversees instructors, initial training and certifications.
• Evaluates ongoing performance and reports results.
• Supports Bureau and ADCRR-wide training initiatives.
• Facilitates classes and workshops as needed.
