Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Event Manager to lead the full lifecycle of events, from user conferences to roadshows and incentives. You will own planning and execution, coordinating with Registration, Platform, Sponsorship, IS, Finance, and other departments to ensure flawless delivery.

The role requires 2–5 years in event management or hospitality, a four-year degree (or equivalent), and the ability to travel up to 50% while working across time zones as needed.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or related work experience.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in event management, meeting planning or hospitality.
• 1-2 years of experience with direct client management in some capacity.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Willingness to work across time zones as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of all assigned events.
• Coordinate event management across departments (Registration, Platform, Sponsorship, IS, Air, Finance).
• Manage event budget, invoicing, payment schedules and cost savings reports.
• Oversee program agenda and cross-team communication.
• Lead event project plans and timelines.
• Participate in client and internal meetings (status, walkthroughs, onsite, debriefs).
• Drive deliverables to meet milestones.
• Manage venue coordination (space, setup, F&B, electrical, internet).
• Oversee DMC and outside vendors (AV, production, entertainment, IT, etc.).
• Coordinate content, graphics and production of programs and signage.
• Develop budgets, itineraries, and lead site inspections.
