Job description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Event Manager to lead and manage the full‑scale planning and execution of small to large‑scale events, including user conferences, sales kickoffs, roadshows, incentives, and other corporate programs. This role requires expertise in event management, client engagement, venue coordination, production oversight, hotel room blocks, vendor management, and contract negotiation.

Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

Primary Responsibilities
  • Take full ownership of planning and executing assigned events
  • Coordinate event management across multiple departments, including Registration, Platform, Sponsorship, IS, Air, and Finance
  • Manage event budgets, invoicing, payment schedules, and cost‑saving reports
  • Oversee program agendas and ensure clear communication across internal and external teams
  • Develop and manage event project plans and timelines
  • Lead and participate in client meetings, status updates, pre‑program walkthroughs, onsite meetings, and post‑program debriefs
  • Drive deliverables to meet timeline milestones
  • Manage all aspects of venue coordination, including meeting space allocation, room setup, diagrams, food & beverage, electrical, and internet
  • Oversee DMC and outside vendors such as Audio Visual, Production, Entertainment, IT/Internet, Photographer, Printer, Security, Shipping, Translation, and Transportation
  • Coordinate content, graphics, and production of program collateral (agenda, conference guide, signage, etc.)
  • Develop budgets, coordinate itineraries, and lead site inspections
Requirements
  • Four‑year college degree or equivalent work experience
