Apple Rehab Guilford is seeking a part-time Cook Supervisor to oversee the dietary team and ensure meals meet residents' dietary orders. The role includes supervision, planning with the Dietary Manager, and assisting with purchases and event preparation in a resident-centered setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold Serv Safe Manager certification.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Perform simple math calculations, measure and record data.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to supervise and instruct others.
• Experience in hospital or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and monitors dietary department staff.
• Ensures policies and procedures are followed.
• Contributes to evaluations of subordinates with the Dietary Manager.
• Prepares and serves meals according to residents' diets.
• Assists with production planning and forecasting needs.
• Manages purchase and storage of food and equipment.
