Summit is seeking an experienced cook supervisor to lead and mentor a correctional kitchen team in Hot Springs National Park, AR. You will coordinate staff, uphold sanitation and safety standards, and ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to the highest quality.

The role emphasizes hands-on supervision, training, and maintaining exacting standards in a fast-paced environment, with the goal of delivering consistent, nutritious meals to inmates and staff alike.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of culinary experience in a high-volume, scratch-focused setting.
• Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Experience supervising a team and coordinating staff activities.
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation; ensure meal services begin on time; ensure portion, appearance and temperature are high quality.
