Job summary

Summit is seeking an experienced cook supervisor for a correctional facility kitchen in Olympia, WA. You will coordinate and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal production, adherence to sanitation standards, and high-quality, on-time service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least one year of high-volume, scratch cooking experience, strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to train and guide a team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of culinary experience in high-volume scratch cooking.
• Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Strong customer service and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and train staff in food service and sanitation.
• Ensure meal service starts on time and portions/appearance/temperature meet standards.
• Supervise a kitchen team in a fast-paced environment.
