Good Samaritan Home in Oakland City, IN is seeking a Cook to join our ASC culinary team. You will follow recipes, prepare meals that meet residents’ nutritional needs, and assist in leading kitchen tasks to ensure safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Preferred sanitation/safe food handling certification.
• Healthcare/institutional kitchen experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and prepare meals meeting nutritional needs.
• Cook and prepare meals in required quantities.
• Lead kitchen staff with prep, assembling trays, cleaning, storage.
• Maintain a clean food service area during operations.
• Handle, store, and dispose of food per procedures and regulations.
