Good Samaritan in Mandan, ND is hiring a full-time cook responsible for preparing and serving meals for patients and staff. You will train and lead kitchen staff, follow menus, and ensure HACCP and sanitation standards are met.

This position offers day shifts, 40 hours per week, and a competitive benefits package including health and retirement options. A high school diploma and Serv Safe certification are preferred; prior leadership experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Serv Safe certification may be required depending on location.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, season and portion food for patients/residents, staff, and visitors.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and production sheets for daily/weekly menus.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain sanitation/cleanliness.
• Maintain labeling and storage of food, equipment and supplies.
