Job summary

Good Samaritan in Mandan, ND is seeking a cook to perform food preparation for patients/residents and staff, following menus and dietary requirements. You will supervise daily kitchen tasks, ensure sanitation, and uphold HACCP guidelines.

This full-time role offers a 40-hour week, day shifts, and a competitive pay range of $15.00 to $22.50 per hour with a $2500 sign-on bonus. Experience preferred but on-the-job training will be provided; resume/application required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum two years experience and leadership experience preferred.
• Serv Safe may be required to obtain within a designated time frame.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs all duties in food preparation as assigned and ensures standards and goals are met.
• Prepares, cooks, seasons and portions food for patients/residents, staff, and visitors.
• Maintains sanitation, labeling and storage of food, equipment and machinery.
• Documents HACCP steps and temperatures to ensure safety and quality.
