Job summary

The Salvation Army in Jackson, MS is seeking a Cook to plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals for large groups in a safe, presentable way. You will clean and sanitize kitchen facilities and equipment, maintain stock, and assist in managing kitchen staff to ensure meals are served on schedule.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, 3 years’ experience cooking for large groups, and the ability to coordinate the work of kitchen staff.

• Three years’ experience cooking for large groups.
• Experience coordinating kitchen staff or equivalent.
• Equivalent combination of training and experience.
