Miccosukee Casino & Resort is seeking a Cook 1 (Lead Cook) for a full-time role in Miami, FL. The position requires leadership in a high-volume kitchen, strong culinary skills, and the ability to manage multiple stations, while ensuring HACCP compliance and high-quality guest experiences.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of cook experience, English proficiency, and a culinary certification is preferred.

Formación

• English communication required; Spanish a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Tribal Gaming License may be required.
• 4+ years of experience as a Cook in high-volume operation.
• Culinary certification preferred.
• Strong leadership in fast-paced kitchen.
• Knowledge of food cost control, menu development, and kitchen operations.
• Ability to maintain stamina and professionalism under pressure.
• Knowledge of food safety and HACCP practices.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and run full kitchen service or assigned section.
• Plan production and ensure timely execution.
• Train, coach, and evaluate the team daily.
• Control food costs and minimize waste.
• Provide cross-outlet culinary support.
• Oversee all stations from prep through service.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and align on expectations.
• Collaborate with culinary and management teams.

• Maintain brand consistency across shifts.
