Job summary

NUWAY Alliance in Minneapolis is seeking a Lead Cook (NUWAY III) to prepare nutritious meals for clients in a residential treatment facility. The Cook will ensure special dietary needs are integrated into the menu and uphold health standards for food preparation and kitchen cleanliness.

The role may require split shifts and staying compliant with HIPAA and confidentiality requirements, while delivering a professional yet supportive relationship with clients in various stages of recovery.

Qualifications

• Broad cooking skills across multiple venues and meal services (3 meals/day).
• Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork abilities.
• Able to follow instructions and document services in writing in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious meals with attention to dietary needs for residents.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and Safe Serv standards.
• Work split shifts as required and protect client confidentiality.
