Job summary

Cincinnati AL Operations LLC is seeking a kitchen/c dining services professional to manage meal prep, supervision, and daily kitchen operations. You will follow approved menus, monitor temps, and ensure safety and cleanliness while supporting dietary staff.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in dining services.
• Serv-Safe certification, or willingness to complete within 60 days of hire.
• Basic understanding of food service operations and duties.
• Ability to read, write, and perform simple calculations.
• Quick learner who can apply principles learned.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions.
• Experience in food preparation, cooking, and estimating quantities.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards for handling food and equipment.
• Ability to stand long periods, withstand temperature extremes, and lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Capable of heavy object movement for 20 feet and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to approved menus and recipes and accommodate dietary needs.
• Supervise dietary staff in absence of Dining Services Director and ensure kitchen readiness.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and participate in weekly cleaning routines.
• Record food temperatures and monitor refrigerator/freezer temps; report any issues.
• Make appropriate menu substitutions with approval; manage portions to reduce waste.
• Attend required in-service trainings and staff meetings; maintain confidentiality.
