Job summary

The State of Colorado invites applications for a full-time food service position within the Division of Youth Services. You will handle meal preparation, serving, and line setup while adhering to school program guidelines and safety policies.

Responsibilities include inventory control, sanitation, training participation, and potential shift work at various facilities. Applicants must meet basic qualifications and be willing to serve statewide.

Qualifications

• One year of relevant experience in a food service or related occupation.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Full background and reference checks required.
• State of Colorado residency at the time of application and during employment.

Responsibilities

• Properly prepares food per menus/recipes and serves in correct quantities.
• Follows National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program requirements.
• Sets up and tears down serving lines; garnishes and portions food.
• Maintains safety, sanitation, and inventory controls; reports hazards.
• Attends meetings and training; may work any shift, weekends or holidays.
