NC State University’s NC State Dining seeks a Cook to join our culinary team in Raleigh, NC. The role focuses on preparing meals to standard recipes, keeping stations stocked, and ensuring safe, high‑quality offerings for students, staff, and visitors.

You will collaborate with front‑of‑house teams, monitor sanitation, and assist with inventory as part of a fast-paced campus operation. A ServSafe certification and a strong team mindset are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with food safety and sanitation.
• Ability to lead and motivate student and temporary staff.
• Proficiency with kitchen data entry and basic computer tasks.

Responsabilités

• Execute standard recipes and keep food stations stocked.
• Coordinate with front-of-house for smooth service flow.
• Enter data into NetMenu production system when needed.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and proper sanitation practices.
• Assist in task delegation and daily prep lists.
