Job summary

RoviSys Building Technologies is seeking a Lead Controls Systems Engineer in Reno, NV to design and lead building automation projects in a dynamic team environment. You will guide a project team, review designs, and configure DDC/PLC/DCS controls while supporting customer demonstrations and acceptance testing.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or related technical degree.
• 3+ years of experience in building automation or related field.
• Controls experience with Rockwell, Aveva, Inductive Ignition Perspective, Distech BACnet/LON controllers or similar.
• Other useful tech include SQL, scripting (VBA, Python), Kepware OPC server, ThinManager, VMware.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and leadership for project teams of 2-5 engineers.
• Lead customer meetings and review designs.
• Estimate hardware costs and engineering effort for proposals.
• Prepare submittals and documentation for controls hardware.
• Configure DDC/PLC/DCS control algorithms and perform testing.
• Lead onsite startup activities and customer demonstrations.
