Job summary
Rovisys-Building-Technologies is seeking a Lead Controls Systems Engineer to design, lead, and deliver building automation projects. You will guide a team of 2-5 engineers, lead customer meetings, and support proposals with hardware cost estimates and engineering effort projections.
The role involves instrumentation and electrical design, panel layouts, device selection, and system configuration of DDC/PLC/DCS control algorithms.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a technical field or related degree.
- 3+ years of experience in building automation or related industry.
- Controls experience with Rockwell, Aveva, Inductive Automation, or Distech platforms.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance for a project team of 2-5 engineers.
- Lead customer meetings and assist with proposal generation.
- Create instrument lists from P&ID drawings and select appropriate devices.
- Configure DDC/PLC/DCS control algorithms and HVac systems testing.
- Lead onsite system startup, testing, and customer training.
