Lead Controls Engineer - Power Electronics & Energy Storage at Eaton is a hybrid-role based in Moon Twp, PA. You will develop and validate control systems for grid-tied inverters, DC/DC converters, and battery storage products.

You will own model-based design through hardware-in-the-loop validation and collaborate across controls, firmware, hardware, and systems teams to scale energy transition programs.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in power electronics, controls, or power systems.
• MATLAB/Simulink model-based design experience; power converters lab experience; Python scripting.

Mansioni

• Develop, tune, and validate control algorithms for grid-forming and grid-following inverters, DC/DC converters, and energy storage systems.
• Build and maintain simulators in Simulink/PSCAD to support studies and reviews.
• Interface with customers to define system requirements and translate them into control architectures.
