Job summary

International in Tulsa, OK seeks a Lead Controls Engineer to drive design and implementation of controls, power distribution, and network infrastructure for new machining lines. You will collaborate with OEMs, internal teams, and International Operations to select, integrate and implement control systems.

The role supports upgrades and troubleshooting across our advanced manufacturing operations, requiring strong expertise in Allen Bradley PLCs, vision systems, and MES integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 2+ years of product manufacturing experience.
• Master's degree with 1+ year of product manufacturing experience.
• At least 5 years of product manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop industrial control systems for automated equipment.
• Create panel layouts, power distribution schemes, and wiring diagrams.
• Program PLCs and HMIs — with a strong emphasis on Allen Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix and FactoryTalk View Studio.
• Interface with RSLinx, Kepware, and MES systems for data exchange.
• Program and maintain Fanuc robot logic.
• Configure and maintain Cognex and Keyence vision systems, area scanners and light curtains.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Manufacturing and Quality teams to implement error-proofing systems.
• Work closely with Maintenance Technicians to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Provide technical leadership to ensure OEM compliance with electrical and controls standards.
