Job summary

LeoForce, a Tulsa-based engineering and technology firm, seeks a Senior Controls Engineer to own control systems from design & programming through factory testing, field commissioning, and startup.

You'll handle PLC programming, instrumentation, electrical controls, and see systems operate in the field, collaborating with engineering and field teams.

This hands-on role offers real-world impact on power, process, and emissions-control equipment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial controls, automation, instrumentation, or process controls.
• Hands-on PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley / ControlLogix / Studio 5000 strongly preferred.
• Experience with HMI/SCADA systems.
• Ability to read and develop P&IDs and electrical/control schematics.
• Experience with industrial instrumentation and I/O.
• Experience with FAT, commissioning, startup, or field troubleshooting.
• Industrial process equipment, power generation, manufacturing, or energy experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across engineering and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Own control systems from engineering and programming through factory testing, field commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and test PLC programs and instrumentation wiring diagrams for industrial equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering and field teams to ensure robust field performance.
