Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking a Principal Controls Engineer for an established industrial manufacturer in Tulsa, OK. This hands-on technical leadership role requires expertise in electrical control systems design, engineering standards, and driving quality improvements across engineering and production teams.

You will mentor engineers, review complex designs, ensure NEC/NFPA 70 and UL 508A compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional groups to deliver robust control solutions for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Significant experience designing industrial electrical control systems.
• Strong ability to review and approve complex electrical control designs.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level technical direction for electrical control system design and development.
• Evaluate customer specifications and project requirements to determine control strategies.
• Review complex electrical control designs and approve before production release.
• Identify risks and engineering requirements early in the project lifecycle.
• Mentor engineers and designers through complex controls challenges.
• Establish and maintain engineering standards and guidelines for control systems.
• Support cross-functional teams with technical guidance on controls projects.
