Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Lead Engineer to drive global code and standard compliance for GP Controls Platform products, including nuclear projects and NPIs, in Longmont, CO. The role collaborates across engineering, manufacturing, and external agencies to secure certifications.

You will lead regulatory assessments, develop compliance plans, supervise documentation, and drive Lean, PCO and PLM initiatives while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5+ years in engineering design, preferably nuclear.
• At least 2 years with IEC, EU Directives and Americas Codes & Standards.
• Minimum 1 year of Industrial Control product knowledge with GE or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical compliance for SCS projects and NPIs across global codes.
• Conduct regulatory assessments and create compliance plans.
• Interface with external agencies and government bodies for certifications.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and field teams on processes.
• Ensure safety, quality, schedule, and cost visibility for compliance scopes.
