Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Principal Engineer (CTH) to lead advanced nuclear plant control initiatives. You will align I&C architectures, drive safety-critical design standards, and mentor engineers across multi-disciplinary teams to ensure high quality, reliable digital control solutions.

You will influence regulatory compliance, oversee risk frameworks, and collaborate with Steam Turbine Controls teams to define strategy.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in engineering/operations for Nuclear Power.
• 10 years on Instrumentation & Control in regulated, safety-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical authority in Nuclear Plant Controls, setting standards and guiding decisions.
• Establish integration framework for control system requirements, architecture, and V&V methodologies.
• Represent nuclear safety-critical design standards to influence roadmaps and regulatory compliance.
• Provide system-level safety oversight across multi-discipline integrations.
• Mentor engineers and promote a system-level mindset across teams.
